It is very commonly used for furniture, cabinetry, shelving and decorative moldings. The shelf ships in 1 piece. Mitered hanger board assembly included for easy installation. Shelf Length: 60" Shelf Depth: 9" Bottom Base Length: 55.875" Bottom Base Depth: 6.875" Overall Height: 8" Weight 35 pounds. Look for the pearl inlay that graces the right hand side of the shelf as proof that you have received an authentic Pearl Mantel. Paint grade only. If you would like to change the color, lightly sand and add your own touch. Also available in black and chocolate brown.

• Hollow in the back creating the look of a solid piece of wood, but without the weight or difficulty of installation
• Not included is hardware to mount the hanger rail.  It is necessary to purchase hardware that is appropriate for your specific mounting surface.  For example, brick requires a different mounting hardware than drywall.
• MDF is considered a combustible material. Heat clearances must be adhered to.   If installing over a fireplace, check your local building codes and the manufacturer's instructions for your specific fireplace insert or stove.
