Sleep Medicine Physician opening in Baltimore, MD
- Baltimore, MD - Carroll County, Baltimore County, Frederick County, MD
Position Details: - Full-time; Hours Vary
- Seeking a fellowship-trained Sleep Medicine physician to join our growing team within a Division of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine, one of 14 divisions in the Department of Medicine.
- Fellowship-trained sleep specialists from diverse specialties, with a preference for dual training in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine although not required, are welcome to apply
- Join a team of 5+ faculty physicians and 2 advanced practice providers (APPs)
- Outpatient Sleep Medicine practice with flexible scope based on subspecialty training
- Pulmonary-trained candidates may also participate in:
- Inpatient pulmonary consultation service - Outpatient office-based practice - Procedures including navigational bronchoscopy and EBUS - Pulmonary call rotation - Non-pulmonary-trained Sleep physicians will focus on outpatient Sleep Medicine
- Mentorship and education for Internal Medicine residents and medical students
- Opportunity for an academic appointment through the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences available
Qualifications: - MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Fellowship-trained in Sleep Medicine
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Sleep Medicine
- Preference for dual certification in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine, though not required
- Eligibility for an unrestricted Maryland medical license
- Current DEA and CDS registration
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong communication skills and commitment to multidisciplinary collaboration
