Core Responsibilities:
\n - Always follow all required safety standards and procedures.
\n - Always follow required environmental standards and procedures.
\n - Repairs and maintains all facility machinery and mechanical equipment through preventative maintenance and problem-solving skills.
\n - Works with outside vendors and contractors to initiate and implement equipment and facility repair on an as needed basis.
\n - Utilizes analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills to examine, repair and/or detect issues with machinery or equipment for repair on hydraulic and electrical systems.
\n - Inspects, observes, and examines mechanical devices in operation to determine root cause of problem and if necessary, dismantles or adjust devices to repair to specifications.
\n - Provides recommendations or modifications to processes and procedures and collaborates with other maintenance mechanics to increase machine efficiency & up time.
\n - Prioritize daily activities to ensure completion of responsibilities and to keep the facility running.
\n - Performs preventative maintenance on the facility and equipment.
\n - Willing to work extra hours as required to finish repairs and put equipment back into service.
\n - Willing to participate in the rotation of being on call with the other maintenance mechanics.
\n - Clean up and put away tools, parts, etc., at the completion of each job.
\n - Performs other duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities \n - At least five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, preferably in Aerospace.
\n - Must have in-depth knowledge and electrical skills
\n - Must have in-depth knowledge and ability to read and understand blueprints, electrical, machining, hydraulics, building maintenance schematics
\n - Previous maintenance experience with industrial production systems, plumbing, control systems, welding, fabrication, and hydraulic systems.
\n - Ability to operate a Drill Press, Power/Hand Tools, Measuring Equipment and Test Equipment such as a voltmeter.
\n - Ability to pay exceptional attention to detail and have the capacity to handle multiple tasks effectively under deadline pressures while following direction and completing assignments accurately and on time.
\n - Basic computer skills and PLC knowledge.
\n - Ability to read, understand, and interpret drawings, schematics, and manuals.
\n - Interact and communicate in a professional and effective manner with all levels of personnel.
\n - Schedule and organize time and tasks effectively
\n - Ability to work in a challenging and schedule driven environment

Education Requirements: \n - High school diploma or GED required
\n - Apprenticeship or Associates Degree preferred or certificate of training to demonstrate qualifications.
