Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to provide services to our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of maintenance and repair skills, demonstrating a strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. This role is essential for ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and operational, contributing to a safe and functional environment. Successful candidates will be engaged as independent service providers, supporting our operations on a project basis.

Duties

• Perform general upkeep and improvements on buildings, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
• Respond promptly to service requests and complete tasks efficiently.
• Install fixtures, appliances, and equipment as needed.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding project timelines and requirements.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general upkeep practices.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clients.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks as required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to drive to customer locations to provide services.
• Insurance coverage is required to perform work as an independent contractor.

Additional Information

• The relationship between the company and the Handy Man is that of an independent contractor.
• A formal agreement will be made outlining terms of service, expectations, and responsibilities.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $24.05 - $26.42 per hour
