Front Desk Receptionist

Ideal position for college student!

Farmstead Living, an assisted living facility, is seeking a warm, welcoming, and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team part-time. As the first point of contact for residents, families, and visitors, you’ll play a vital role in creating a friendly and professional atmosphere in our community. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful interactions and values the importance of hospitality in a senior living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet residents, families, and guests with kindness and professionalism
• Assist residents, families, and guests with basic inquiries and requests
• Answer and direct incoming calls
• Manage visitor sign-ins and ensure compliance with safety protocols
• Coordinate appointment scheduling and maintain front desk calendars
• Handle incoming mail, packages, and deliveries
• Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area
• Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic environment
• Compassionate and respectful attitude toward older adults

Work Hours:

• 17 hours per week
• Front Desk is open 8 – 6 Weekdays and 9 – 4 Saturday & Sunday
• Starting September 1, 2025.
• Open Shifts: Tuesday 8a-2p, Wednesday 1p-6p, and Thursday 12p-6p.
• May be asked to fill in for coworkers on occasion.
